An interesting thing they don’t tell you about pursuing a degree in English is that, despite the love of reading that probably drew you to the degree, you will have very little time for actual reading. This becomes even truer the closer to graduation you get! I’ll be finishing my degree in March 2019, just a few short weeks away, and one of the things I’m most excited about is the opportunity to tackle my ever-growing TBR (to be read) pile! These are the first few books on my post-graduate TBR pile:
A magical baker written by one of my favorite theater ladies? Yes, please! I actually ordered a signed copy of this book a long time ago but will now, hopefully, be able to actually get around to reading it!
Okay, how on earth was I going to pass this one up? I am absolutely obsessed with Audrey Hepburn, and this one is about a blogger who runs around New York re-enacting Breakfast at Tiffany’s? Must read!
1920s. Gansters. Teenager sent to live with someone new. What about this book doesn’t sound intriguing? I always love a good YA historical fiction, especially involving iconic time periods. Reminds me of the Luxe series by Anna Goberson… but with flappers and prohibition. Apparently, this is the third in a series, but it doesn’t seem to need ot be read in order!
